It was awarded a perfect score by G4 TV and was highly praised by critics from IGN Australia, PC Gamer and GameSpy. In Spore, players guide the life cycle of an alien species from its humble origins as simple-celled organisms to its eventual emergence as a space-faring civilization. The game relies heavily on user-created content, with players designing their creatures at various stages of the game.
