A new patch has been released for the game Spore. The patch fixes several bugs, as well as adding new features, cheats and graphical improvements to the game. The patch also tweaks the game's difficulty level in various stages of the game. The patch is available online for free and can be found here. Spore: Official Patch Page

- The patch changes the number of the game to 1.01.
- Entering the cheat "evoadvantage" when starting a new creature allows players to choose any creature from the Sporepedia
- Entering the cheat "blocksmode" makes creatures blocky.
- Opening the cheat window and typing in "stylefilter -microscope" or "stylefilter -norainbows" or "stylefilter -nextgen" turns on new style filters.
- 70 new planet scripts with a low terraform score have been added.
