- The patch changes the number of the game to 1.01.
- Entering the cheat "evoadvantage" when starting a new creature allows players to choose any creature from the Sporepedia
- Entering the cheat "blocksmode" makes creatures blocky.
- Opening the cheat window and typing in "stylefilter -microscope" or "stylefilter -norainbows" or "stylefilter -nextgen" turns on new style filters.
- 70 new planet scripts with a low terraform score have been added.
