A Few Ways to Play

The Galactic Adventures expansion of Spore adds the ability for creatures to leave their spaceships and beam down to planets to interact with the creatures that live there. Players that have already evolved a species to the space stage will find that they can now explore any planet and some of the missions they are given will involve exploring the planet's surface on foot rather than from the spacecraft.
Players who don't have an evolved species can choose one of the quickplay missions, which provide a pre-determined story and a short burst of gameplay. Along these lines, players can create their own stories and missions and upload them to the Spore website for others to download. Players can access the Spore website at any time to browse through and download new missions to play.IGN: Spore: Galactic Adventures First Look
