The Spore Creature Creator was scheduled to be released on June 18. However, on June 14, a copy of the game began making the rounds on the internet. As usual, there is uncertainty as to the source of the leak. Originally, it was believed that an unreleased magazine with a demo disk was the source. However, several fansites were given a download link early in preparation for the official release on the 18th.
