Spore Cheats

The cheats in Spore come in the form of command codes entered with the keyboard. To activate any of the Spore cheats, first press Ctrl + Shift + C. Once the command prompt is open, the Spore cheats are entered with a series of words. For instance, addDNA is the code for adding more DNA points, and unlockSuperWeapons will unlock super weapons for the civilization phase.

As cheats are discovered for the video game Spore, this page will be updated with information and links. Cheats have been discovered for the Spore Creature Creator that was released before Spore. 1. capturePlanetGIF: records GIF of current planet, saves it in the AnimatedAvatars dierctory
2. setConsequenceTrait (trait): cell_carnivore, cell_herbivore, cell_omnivore, creature_aggressive, creature_social, creature_mixed, tribe_aggressive, tribe_social, tribe_mixed, civ_military, civ_economic, civ_religious, space_bard, space_ecologist, space_zealot, space_diplomat, space_scientist, space_trader, space_shaman, space_warrior, space_wanderer, space_knight
3. help (command): will explain any command
4. addDNA: Adds 150 DNA points
5. moreMoney: adds more money during civ stage and space stage
6. help: displays every cheat and debug command
7. help -full: gives more help for commands
8. killallhints: hides all hints in game
9. refillMotives: refills lost health
10. SetTime (H, M): resets the time of day for the Avatar's position. Also can add a speed multiplier
11. freeCam: toggles on/off free camera
12. unlockSuperWeapons: unlocks super weapons for your civilization.
13. quit: exits game to windows
14. SpaceCreate: unlocks all space tools and recharges them
15. toggleCaptureUI: turns the user interface on/off for capturing screenshots
16. styleFilter -filmNoir: turns monochrome creatures and backgrounds on/off
17. styleFilter -oilPaint: turns oil painting creatures and backgrounds on/off
18. styleFilter -none: turns all filters off
19. antiAliasGif: same as capturePlanetGIF, except captures GIF of planet you're on
20. freedom[on / off]: when on, disables complexity limits. When off, turns them back on
21. option: shows option list
22. prop: display and modify properties
23. clear: clears the console
24. levels: shows level cheats
25. levels -unlock: unlocks each phase, and can jump to any freely
26. history: displays a list of past commands
27. pauseUIVisible: toggles on/off pause user interface

1. evoadvantage: unlocks all creatures in the Sporepedia

2. blocksmode: makes characters blocky

3. stylefilter -microscope: microscope visual filter
