Spiritualized

Spiritualized is an English rock group founded by musician Jason Pierce in 1990 following the dissolution of his previous band, Spacemen 3. They received critical and commercial success with their third studio recording, 1997's Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space. The band has undergone numerous personnel changes since the beginning, with only Pierce remaining from the original lineup. According to the Allmusic website, the Spiritualized sound is characterized by minimalist repetition and lush orchestration.
