SpinVox is a consumer technology company that designs and markets the Voice Message Conversion System (VMCS) for mobile phones. VMCS takes voice recordings, namely voicemails, and converts them into text, including SMS (text messages) and email.ZDNet.co.uk: SpinVox review (January 31, 2006)
Mobile Usage
When used with a mobile phone, the SpinVox Voice Message Conversion System (VMCS) replaces the standard voicemail retrieval system included by the wireless carrier. Original voicemail messages must be retrieved at a new number. The service can be turned on or off, and set to only operate during regular daytime work hours.ZDNet.co.uk: SpinVox review (January 31, 2006)
