Story
Spider-Man's foe, Venom, has been cloning himself and infecting New York City citizens and effectively turning them into symbiote zombies. Spider-Man must team up with all of his allies as well as previous foes to bring an end to Venom's madness.Wikipedia: Spider-Man: Web of ShadowsGameplay
The gameplay in Web of Shadows will follow that of previous Spider-Man games with an open-ended, free-roaming environment, but for the first time, the decisions the player makes can effect the outcome of the game. The player will need to choose which villains to fight and which to let go. Patch v1.1 for all language versions was released on January 27, 2009 that fixes a stability issue during various cutscenes.
