Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is a video game that features four different versions of Spider-Man from four separate comic book universes. The four universes are: Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man, Noir Spider-Man, and 2099 Spider-Man. Each of the four versions of Spider-Man have their own unique levels, gameplay styles, special moves, and super villains to fight as they attempt to piece together a powerful artifact known as "The Tablet of Order and Chaos"
In the Amazing Spider-Man levels, the game plays out like a fairly traditional Spider-Man game. Spider-Man can web swing, web-zip from perch point to perch point, and battle enemies using a combination of agile strikes and web powers. Spider-Man can also use his spider sense to enter a defensive state and automatically dodge basic incoming attacks. This version of Spider-Man is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, who also voiced Spider-Man in the MTV cartoon series entitled Spider-Man: The New Animated Series.
Noir Spider-Man has a playstyle that varies drastically from all of the other versions of Spider-Man. In his levels, players must use stealth to creep around the shadows and quietly pick off enemies one by one, much like they would in the Silent Predator sections of Batman Arkham Asylum. Noir Spider-Man is much more vulnerable to gunfire from enemies, so players must move carefully to avoid being spotted. Noir Spider-Man is voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes, who voiced Spider-Man in the 1990 cartoon series, Spider-Man: The Animated Series
Ultimate Spider-Man's levels revolve mostly around combat. This version of Spider-Man wears the black symbiote suit, which grants him several combat oriented abilities, including the power to enter a rage mode. While in rage mode, Spider-Man's attacks become much faster and hit a lot harder, but he can only sustain this state for a short period of time. Ultimate Spider-Man is voiced by Josh Keaton, the voice actor of the most recent series, Spectacular Spider-Man.
2099 Spider-Man's levels are often based around speed, with some causing him to chase after villains while free falling through a futuristic city. Like Ultimate Spider-Man, 2099 Spider-Man can activate a special combat mode known as Accelerated Vision, which allows him to slow down time for his enemies temporarily. Unlike other versions of Spider-Man who attack with the traditional web-based abilities, 2099 Spider-Man uses talons on his arms to fight during combat. 2099 Spider-Man is voiced by Dan Gilvezan, the voice of Spider-Man from the 1980s animated series: Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.

General Tips
Web of Destiny
The Web of Destiny is a in game challenge system that is directly tied to your ability to purchase upgrades. Each level comes with 15 optional and mandatory challenges that range from defeating a certain type of enemy or boss, to collecting a number of hidden emblems or spiders, or to completing a specific part of the level within a time limit.
You can track up to three challenges by selecting them from the Web of Destiny screen with the Y button. Use this to keep track of easy to miss challenges so you remind yourself to complete them when they come up. Always aim to complete as many challenges on the Web of Destiny as you can. Not only do they unlock more upgrades, but completing each of them provides you with a nice dose of Spider Essence, which is the game's currency when it comes to actually buying those upgrades.
Purchasing Upgrades
With four different characters each with their own unique abilities and powers, there are a lot of upgrades in Shattered Dimensions. So many that it might seem overwhelming. Try to focus on upgrading only abilities that you see yourself actually using, like Spider Rush and Spider Assault which allow you to string another X attack onto your main combo string. Disarm is another important upgrade, as it allows you not only to easily disarm gun wielding enemies, but it also kills them in one hit.
On the character upgrade side of things, always grab health upgrades whenever you get the chance. Upgrades to accelerated vision and rage mode only affect two of the four playable characters, so only get them if you find yourself having a tough time in their levels and could use the extra time in rage/accelerated vision mode.
Likewise, for Noir Spider-Man, very rarely will you ever be actually forced to fight, so purchasing his specific moves might be using Spider Essence that could better be spent elsewhere.
Combat Tips
- Each level in Shattered Dimension comes with its own set of mostly unique enemies, so your approach to combat typically changes throughout each level. For the most part though, keep an eye out for the squiggles over your head that act as your spider sense. When you see them appear, dodge out of the way by holding LT and pressing A.
- Against enemies with long range weapons, your best bet is to quickly close the distance between you by using the web zip. Press B to zip towards an enemy and then start up a combo. If time slows and your spider sense goes off right when you start up a web zip, press A to jump over their head and avoid their counter attack.
- There are times when you'll fight against tougher enemies that block all of your regular attacks. Against these enemies, hold down Y to use a launcher attack that will break their guard
- Once you buy the web shots power up, use it to distract enemies and thin out their numbers without actually having to spend the time to take them out. The less enemies you have to deal with, the less opportunities they will have to hit you.
- A good way to deal damage to enemies is by throwing objects at them. Note though, that it takes a while for you to lift up the object and then actually throw it. One of the ways to make throwing objects at enemies safer is by jumping high up into the air by using a web jump (Hold A) and then throw the objects at them from above.
- Grabbing enemies is another good and easy way to deal lots of damage to single enemies, but it has its limitations. Until you upgrade one of the other grab attacks, you must hit them three times with your X attack before you can get rid of them. All the while, you're vulnerable to enemy attacks.
- Once you're able to buy the Grab Uppercut powerup, you'll be able to quickly grab an enemy and knock them up into the air for an air combo. Make use of this so you can grab enemies, but then get rid of them quickly if you become too surrounded.
Act 1 - Tutorial
- The tutorial of Shattered Dimension gives you the opportunity to play as each of the four Spider-Man characters and teaches you the basics of their gameplay style.
- First you will play as The Amazing Spider-Man and will learn how to climb walls and use your Spider-Sense to locate objects hidden behind walls.
- Next, you will hop into the shoes of Ultimate Spider-Man to learn how to get around with your web powers by web zipping and web swinging towards the artifact piece.
- After that, you'll learn how to be stealthy with Noir Spider-Man as you silently take out enemies from the shadows to clear a path to the next artifact piece.
- TIP: This is likely the only part of the tutorial that you might potentially have trouble with. Stay in the shadows and use your zip lines to move around above without being spotted. You can use take downs from fairly far away as long as the enemy's back is facing you.
- And finally you'll learn the game's combat system by fighting off a bunch of enemies as 2099 Spider-Man.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Walkthrough - Opening Tutorial Level
Act 1 - Kraven the Hunter
Level Tips
- There are several traps to be found throughout Kraven's level. Whenever you see Spidey's Spider Sense go of and there are no enemies around, quickly hold LT to go into a defensive stance and dodge all of the incoming darts that shoot out of the walls.
- Air combos can be extremely effective in battle, even early on when you can't purchase some of the more powerful techniques. Pop an enemy into the air by holding down Y and then mash X after Spider-Man automatically jumps to follow them.
- A bit into the level you will learn your web strike ability. This is a very important ability that can be used to quickly close the distance between you and an enemy. Use it to zip between foes and put yourself in positions where you can deal lots of damage without getting surrounded by enemies.
- Make sure you save some of your Spider Essence for when you're able to purchase the first health upgrade. The combat upgrades that you're able to get at the start aren't all that useful, with the exception of the air recovery.
- Don't neglect your challenges! Frequently refer to the Web of Destiny and track relevant challenges by selecting them with Y. Challenges not only provide you with a good amount of Spider Essence, but they also allow you to purchase new moves.
- During the section where you're being tracked by Kraven's Sniper, after you clear out the enemies, you need to make the sniper shoot down the tree. Simply stand in front of it and then dodge when the red circle in the crosshair completes.
BOSS Battles
Kraven Battle #1:
- In the first battle against Kraven, simply wait for him to use one of his lunging strikes, dodge out of the way, and then start beating him with your combos.
- When you see energy start to swirl around him, that's your cue to zip up to one of the perch points to avoid being skewered by the spikes that emerge from the ground.
- While the spikes are on the floor, locate Kraven who should also be perched somewhere around the arena and webzip into him to knock him down.
- When he gets to about half health, be ready to run up to him and press B when prompted to initiate a grab attack that will deal some heavy damage.
- After this, Kraven will dash towards you and initiate a first person segment where you'll have to defend against Kraven's attacks by pressing down on both control sticks. Do this only when you see the prompt. You have plenty of time to react, so don't even try to predict when the attack is going to come.
- After you dodge his attacks, it'll be your turn to go on the offensive. Mix up your strikes to maximize their effectiveness.
- After the first person segment concludes, the process will repeat. Just keep with the strategy of waiting for Kraven to strike, dodging, and punishing him, while being on the lookout for the ground spikes.
Kraven Battle #2:
- Kraven moves much faster in this battle, but it's largely the same. Avoid his attacks while on the ground, and then punish him while he's open.
- When he starts swaying and dodging all of your attacks, back off for a little and wait to dodge his next attack.
- Use your web zip when Kraven jumps on top of one of columns to knock him down and make him vulnerable for a bit.
- When you bring down his life, Kraven will jump up to the entrance of the temple and you'll be able to zip kick him and end the battle.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Oversized Door: Reach Kraven's Hunting Ground
- Obtained automatically upon reaching Kraven's Hunting Ground.
- Broken Artifacts: Hit 10 hunters using sandstone jars
- There are plenty of opportunities to get this whenever you're in a fight. Just grab one of the pots with B, then throw them by hitting either B, X, or Y.
- Strike!: Successfully web-strike 10 hunters
- Web-strikes can be performed by pressing B while being far away from an enemy. This is a very useful move so you should get this challenge without even trying to get it.
- Just Keep Swinging: Perform 5 consecutive Web Swings without touching the ground
- The environments in this level are expansive enough to make this task fairly easy. As the title says, just keep swinging!
- Standing Target: Zip Kick 5 gunners off their perch point.
- Whenever you see an enemy standing on a pillar, web-zip towards them and you'll automatically kick them off.
- Thrill of the Fight: Defeat 10 Hunters
- Obtained automatically from killing 10 enemies.
- Evasive Response: Dodge 10 enemies' attacks using your defensive stance.
- Simply hold LT to enter defensive stance and dodge attacks automatically.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 35 Emblems
- Remember to turn on your spider sense frequently to look for otherwise hard to spot emblems. There are many more than 35 emblems throughout the level, so you don't have to find every single one.
- Sitting Duck: Dodge 10 bullets from Kraven's sniper in the waterfall area.
- A little more than halfway through the level, the view will change so that you're viewing Spider-Man from the scope of a sniper rifle. When you see the red circle appear, get ready to dodge by holding LT and pressing A
- Hunter's Prey: Take out all of the hunters in the main courtyard in under 4 minutes.
- Remember to use your Spider-Sense so you can see in the smoke screens and so you can find enemies that are not in the immediate area. If you're finding it tough to beat this time limit, come back to it when you have some upgraded skills and abilities.
- Pillars of Strength: Get 10 Pillars destroyed in the final fight against Kraven
- During the final battle against Kraven, spend some time just sitting on top of the pillars and eventually Kraven will come crashing through them. Make sure to zip around to other pillar tops as Kraven gets close to avoid taking damage.
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders.
- Use your spider sense to high light the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Thrill of the Hunt: Defeat 30 Hunters
- Obtained automatically through killing enemies.
- Kraven's Den: Take out Kraven in the caged arena
- Obtained automatically through winning the first Kraven fight.
- Heavy Fall: Take out a Goliath Hunter by performing a finishing grab
- Make sure that when you're taking on the huge Goliath Hunters, you stop attacking once you see the B button prompt appear over their head. Press B near them to perform the finishing grab when the prompt appears.

Act 1 - Hammerhead
Level Tips
- These tips apply mostly for all Noir Spider-Man levels since they're all pretty similar. The number one rule that you want to follow is stay in the shadows.
- Noir Spider-Man cannot take damage like the other Spider-Men can, so if you get spotted, immediately run away and break the line of sight .
- There are 6 different types of takedowns you can perform as Noir Spider-Man: Up close, from a distance, from above, against the wall, on the wall, and perched. Most of the time you'll just end up using the takedowns from a distance, from above, and from a perched location, but it's good to know that you can takedown enemies while crawling on a wall if the situation ever calls for it.
- Before you go for a takedown, make sure that you're in the shadow, that the enemy is not facing you, and that no other enemies are close enough to see it happen. Generally you want to try to avoid taking down an enemy when another one is right next to him. If it's unavoidable, then always take the enemy in the back first and hope that the one in front doesn't turn around.
- NEVER attempt a takedown in a crowd of three or more enemies. Wait it out and eventually at least one of them will seperate.
BOSS Battles
Hammerhead Turret Battle
- For this fight, you need to try and sneak around behind Hammerhead by staying out of the spotlights. Note that even if you're behind Hammerhead and step into any kind of light, he'll turn around and start shooting.
- Once you're completely behind him, get in decently close and press B when prompted to execute a takedown.
- Repeat this three times and you'll bring him down.
Hammerhead Final Battle
- For the final battle against Hammerhead, what you want to do is lure him into shooting one of the generators.
- Get his attention first by throwing barrels or whatever other objects you see at him, then quickly run behind one of the large generators.
- When he blows it up, the room will be filled with smoke. Activate your Spider Sense and zip up to one of the perches.
- Watch Hammerhead's outline and zip over to the perch above where he stands. Press B when prompted to execute a takedown.
- After you hit him, quickly run behind one of the stone slabs for cover and start working your way towards the next generator so you can repeat the process.
- After three hits, you'll be out of generators and Hammerhead will start going berserk. Dodge around to avoid his grenade launcher shots and position yourself near the walls as you wait for him to charge you.
- When he charges, dodge out of the way and let him run into the wall. While he's stunned, press B near him to grab him one final time and start beating him up from the first person perspective.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Open Gates: Rescue the 3 workers from the first trainyard.
- Obtained automatically through progression in the level.
- Hang in There: Perform 5 takedowns while perched above guards
- Use your web-zip to get to a perch above a guard and then press B when prompted to execute the takedown. Be careful not to use this with other guards in the area.
- Against the Wall: Perform 3 takedowns while you are crawling on walls.
- When you spot an enemy near a wall, hop on to the wall, stay in the shadows, and press B when prompted to take them down and stick them to the wall.
- Grounded!: Standing safely back, perform 3 takedowns while on the same level as your target.
- This should be your main method of taking enemies down, so getting 3 of them should be easy.
- Night off: Rescue the 5 workers from the second train yard
- Obtained automatically through progression in the level.
- Spider's Mark: Perform 10 takedowns
- This should happen automatically if you're playing the level correctly.
- Whispers in the Dark: Perform 3 takedowns while sneaking within arm's reach of your targets
- Thankfully guards in Shattered Dimensions can't hear your footsteps, so you can just run up to enemies to do this. Try to do it when they just change their direction rather than when they're stopped so they're less likely to turn around right when you get close.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 20 Spider Emblems
- Once again, turn on that Spider-Sense to find the emblems. You'll find a bunch hidden inside train cars.
- Stealthy: Takedown 5 guards in a row without raising an alarm
- This is the hardest challenge for this level, but its easily doable as long as you're careful about when you decide to use your takedowns. Make sure that whoever your taking down is not in the line of sight of any other enemies and make sure that you're in the shadows when you do it.
- Gatling Gone: Make Hammerhead destroy 6 stone columns in the first encounter.
- During the first fight with Hammerhead, let him spot you and then stick to the backside of the stone column. Keep on making him shoot the column until it gets destroyed and then quickly move on to the next one.
- Stealth in Style: Perform 4 different types of takedown.
- Just by doing the above challenges you'll be able to get this, but an example of four takedowns you can use include the ranged takedown (on the same level), the ranged takedown (from a higher level), the perched takedown, the up close takedown, and the wall takedown.
- Spider Collector: Find all of the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Spider's Bite: Perform 20 takedowns
- Again, should happen automatically if you're playing this level correctly.
- Headstrong Win the first encounter against Hammerhead
- Obtained automatically through defeating Hammerhead the first time.
- Express Delivery: Beat Hammerhead's men in the ambush in the final trainyard in under 2 minutes.
- Avoid getting hit by the incoming trains and avoid getting hit by the big enemy's hammer by dodging whenever your spider sense goes off, and you should be able to meet this time limit with ease.

Act 1 - Hobgoblin
Level Tips
- Players start off this level with a freefall segment. During this you'll have to catch up to the Hobgoblin while avoiding the obstacles that block the way. You'll be able to grab him once you get close enough, so be ready to hit B when prompted and start pounding away to deal some damage. Note that if you're trying to complete the "Cosmetic Surgery" Challenge, you may not want to hit Hobgoblin that much since hitting him will cause you to break the grab early.
- 2099's claim to fame is his Accelerated Vision Mode. By pressing LB you can activate a slow motion mode that causes all of your enemies to move slow, while you move at the same speed. Use this to take on large groups of enemies, get around faster when under a time limit, or to do heavy damage to a single target.
- Hobgoblin's level is actually pretty standard compared to most. There are two freefall sequences that are very similar to each other, and intermittent battles against the Hobgoblin. There are lots of wide open linear areas where you'll have to swing across large stretches while dealing with jetbikes. Know that you can easily bring down a bike simply by web zipping into it with a press of the B button.
BOSS Battles
First, second, and third Hobgoblin Battles.
- You'll fight Hobgoblin right at the start of the level after the first freefall section and it will set the tone for how your next few encounters with him will go.
- Wait for him to take out his pumpkin bomb and as soon as he throws it, press B to grab it in midair and throw it back at him.
- Hit him enough with his own bombs and he'll descend to the ground stunned, allowing you to punish him and deal some good damage before he gets back up.
- Aside from that, just be careful of his dashes and you've really got nothing else to worry about.
- The next few battles with him go pretty much the same, with the exception of the fact that now he will have enemy guards attacking you as you're focusing on him. Hold LT and lock on to Hobgoblin as he flies around so that you can be ready to grab his bomb when he throws it.
Final Hobgoblin Battle
- In this final battle, Hobgoblin will start off by sending his clones to fight you. Deal with them quickly by pressing B and web zipping into them.
- After you deal with his clones, the real Hobgoblin will show himself. Once again, you're goal here is to throw his pumpkin bombs back at him. This time he throws two bombs, one after the other. Dodge the first one and then grab the second one so you avoid taking any damage.
- He's got some new moves this time around, but both can be avoided simply by just webswining around. He will either dash across the stage and drop bombs as he passes, or he'll crash into the ground and emit shockwaves repeatedly. He's not vulnerable after either of these attacks, so just wait for him to pull out the bombs.
- Eventually he'll rest at the center platform and start healing as he sends his clones back out to fight you. Deal with the clones as quickly as you can so you can quickly put an end to his healing.
- Once you bring down his life, you'll enter another first person perspective beat down minigame where you'll have to dodge his punches and throw some of your own as you two fall toward the ground.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Cosmetic Surgery: SMASH Hobgoblin 5 times into things during freefall
- The best time to do this is during the first freefall when you enter the tunnel and you start to see girders block your path. Don't punch Hobgoblin when you're trying to smash him into objects because punching him too much will cause you to break the hold.
- Bench Press: Hit 5 Public Eye Patrol officers with benches
- Not much to this one. Just focus on throwing benches at the regular enemies you see.
- Air Traffic Control: Destroy 5 Jet Bikes
- Jet bikes can be destroyed by pressing B while in the air and aiming at them. You'll web-zip to them and destroy them on impact.
- Who's Laughing Now: Win the first fight against Hobgoblin.
- Obtained automatically after the first fight against Hobgoblin
- Drop Something?: Force Hobgoblin to drop his bombs 3 times.
- In order to get this, you need the Web Shots upgrade that allows you to shoot little bits of webbing at a target with a press of RB. Use this move to hit Hobgoblin as he readies his bombs.
- Freefall Flurry: Punch Hobgoblin 25 times during freefall.
- Should be pretty easy. You have plenty of opportunities to grab Hobgoblin during the freefall sections. Just mash the X button as soon as you get a hold of him.
- Like a Blur: Defeat 5 enemies while in Accelerated Vision
- Press LB to activate accelerated vision.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 25 Spider Emblems
- Use your Spider Sense to highlight emblems and be especially watchful when you're swinging through wide open areas. Look high and low for emblems.
- Hot Potato: Hit 5 enemies with Hobgoblin Bombs.
- Once you grab one of hobgoblin's bombs, aim towards other enemies instead of at Hobgoblin himself.
- Sweet Dreams: Defeat 20 gargoyles in the final fight.
- Hobgoblin's gargoyles are defeated simply by web zipping towards them, so just keep on spamming your web zips until you get 20 of them.
- Resisting Arrest: Defeat 30 Public Eye Patrol officers
- Should happen automatically as you progress through the level.
- Spider Collector: Collect all Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Who's Next: Defeat the Public Eye Patrol on the roof arena in under 4 minutes
- Use your accelerated vision as often as you can to make quick work of the enemies up here.
- Crow's Nest: Land on one of the high antennas in a monorail section
- Coming Soon
- Boomshakala: Divert 3 missiles into Public Eye Patrol Officers
- Coming Soon

Act 1 - Electro
Level Tips
- Aside from the standard soldier enemies, you'll be faced with four types of electrical creatures in this levels. The blue enemies are the standard affair that shoot energy blasts at you from a distance.
- Red creatures are kamikaze enemies that will rush you in mass numbers and attempt to blow up in your face. These guys can be taken out with one hit, including long range web shots.
- Green creatures like to go on top of perch points and track you with a long range beam attack. The attack is fairly slow moving and can even be used to attack other enemies. If you see them perched, you can take them down easily with one hit by just web zipping into them.
- The purple creatures are the tough ones. They block a lot of your attacks, forcing you to hold down Y to break their guard. Use your rage mode to bring these guys down more easily.
- One of the tougher parts of this level is when you have to protect the two civilians while they attempt to open a door. Remember to use your rage mode and keep a sharp eye on the health meter down below so you can know when one side is starting to get overwhelmed.
BOSS Battles
Electro Battle #1:
- The first time you fight Electro will be fairly early on in the level in a room with a bunch of power turbines.
- Even though he's made of electricity, he's actually pretty safe to punch head on. Start off the fight being aggressive, only dodging when your spider sense indicates an incoming counter-attack.
- When he crosses his arms and starts emitting energy, back away and then re-engage when he returns to normal.
- Eventually, he will teleport to the middle of the stage and electricity will start to flow on the ground. Quickly zip to one of the turbines and wait for Electro to perch himself on one as well.
- He will start shooting energy balls at you as you try to approach him to zip kick him off the turbine.
- Once you do, he will return to the middle stage and the process will repeat all over again.
- He will start adding new moves to his arsenal as the fight goes on. Watch out for a dangerous beam attack that you'll be able to see coming when he teleports to the middle of the stage and an energy shield surrounds him. Jump over the beam as it approaches and simply wait out the duration of the attack before trying to hit him again.
Electro Battle #2:
- In the second battle with Electro, you need to wait until he uses one of his energy attacks and loses his shield. Keep on moving around to bait him into attacking and then activate Rage Mode and counter attack while he's busy recharging his energy.
- After you deal some damage, he'll start replenishing his health by sucking the power out of the generators. Quickly swing over to him and zip kick him by pressing B.
- The battle gets a little more difficult when he starts spawning creatures to distract you, but they're easily taken care by simply zipping to their perch point and kicking them off. Don't let them get in the way of hitting Electro while he's replenishing his health.
Electro Battle #3:
- For this final battle against Electro, he's gotten so big and powerful that you can't actually damage him directly. Luckily, he still has a weakness against water, and you just so happen to be fighting on a huge dam.
- Jump over his giant beam attack by using a double jump with a web jump as well if necessary. From there, he will place his hand on the ground, allowing you to web it up. He'll rip his hand away and pound the dam, dealing some damage to it. Repeat this one more time for the other hand.
- Jump his beams a couple of more times and he'll turn to recharge his power. While he's doing this, objects will fly up, giving you a way to reach the other side.
- Run from right to left to avoid his ground pounds and then run back from left to right to avoid them again. Each time he pounds the dam, he deals a little more damage to it.
- From here on, Electro will start spawning electric creatures for you to deal with as he recharges, then he will begin pounding the dam, slowly limiting the space you have to move around in. Just keep avoiding the pounds and defeating the enemies and eventually he will destroy the dam and defeat himself.
Web of Destiny Challenges

- Laser Cut: Use green electric creatures to defeat 10 other creatures.
- Green electric creatures use lasers that slowly track Spider-Man as he moves around. Try to direct a laser into other green creatures that are likely perched on top of power lines, or if possible, into groups of red creatures that will die in one hit if the laser hits them.
- Enraged: Use Rage Mode to dispatch a total of 50 electric creatures
- Activate Rage Mode by pressing LB when your rage meter is full. Use this throughout the level and you should have no problem reaching 50.
- Anger Issues: Activate Rage for the first time

Act 2 - Sandman
Level Tips
- Water is your best friend in this level. You'll need to web-pull water tanks in order to stop the sand tornadoes that impede your progress and you'll need to douse the sand creatures with water barrels or water from a broken water valve before they become vulnerable.
- These sand creatures are actually some of the tougher foes you'll face throughout the entire game. Remember that you don't actually have to be close to a water barrel in order to throw it. You don't even have to be on the ground. Avoid getting hit by sand creatures while you're trying to throw barrels at them by jumping high in the air first.
- During the sections where you must circle a giant sand tornado, you won't be able to web swing or web jump, so you must rely only on your web zips in order to get around. You won't be able to save yourself if you fall either, so be careful.
- Don't neglect the water valves! If you're running low on nearby water barrels, lure a sand creature to the water valve and then either hit it or web pull it to cause water to shoot out.
BOSS Battles Sandman Battle #1:
- Sandman's first form is actually nothing more than a tough sand creature that you'll be fighting plenty of later on.
- Use the various water barrels lying around to turn him into mud and then start unleashing combos. Make sure to dodge away when he turns his hand into a spiked ball or hammer.
- As you bring his health bar down, he'll start to shoot streams of sand at you. Don't try to pick up a water barrel while he's shooting sand. Wait for him to take a small breather, then pick up the barrel.
- Repeat this process of dodging his slow attacks, hitting him with water barrels, and damaging him with combos and you should make it out of this battle with little difficulty.
Sandman Battle #2:
- In this second boss battle, Sandman will be a huge and imposing sand monster. Try to get him to slam his arm down onto one of the wheelbarrows of water barrels and then start unleashing combos on his muddy hand while he's still vulnerable.
- Repeat this until he destroys the wheelbarrows and starts shooting balls of sand at you.
- You'll notice to the left that a conveyor belt has started to drop water barrels for you. Head on over and throw one at Sandman to cause his head to drop down to your level.
- Attack his head with your strongest combos and repeat the process until he's defeated.
Sandman Battle #3:
- For the final battle, Sandman's form is basically just three giant sand heads. For this fight, all you really have to do is zip around the various objects until you find a water barrel to throw at one of the heads.
- Once you soak a head, quickly zip over to it and start unleashing combos until it disappears.
- Try to stay in the general area of where you want to throw the barrel so that when you hit the head, you don't have to travel very far.
- Outside of that, there's really not much other strategy to this battle. Just keep moving and keep pressing B when there's a barrel nearby to hurl it at one of the heads.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Zip Apprentice: Web-zip on 3 moving objects
- Obtainable automatically by progressing through the level.
- Thirsty?: Hit Sandman with 10 water barrels during the first encounter.
- This is how you have to fight Sandman in order to make him vulnerable. There are plenty of barrels around, so just make sure to hit him with 10 before you actually go to finish him off.
- Have a Drink!: Throw 25 water barrels at enemies
- Again, hitting enemies with water barrels is one of the only two ways to make enemies vulnerable to your attacks, so this should be fairly easy to get without even trying.
- Pressure Release: Use 10 water valves to turn sand creatures into mud.
- This is the second way to make the sand creatures vulnerable, and it's a little more tricky. Lure them over to a water valve and then either aim towards the valve and press B to web pull the handle off, or just attack it to cause water to spray out.
- Waterfall: Tip 3 water towers on Sandman
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Sand Slide!: Escape from Sandman's Sand Slide in the mine.
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Hard Rock: Defeat 5 Sand Golems
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Emblem Collector: Collect 40 Spider Emblems
- Business as usual. Use your spider sense and you should have no trouble tracking down 40 emblems.
- Tornado Chaser: Stay airborne for 30 seconds, by web zipping on objects hurled by Sandman's tornado.
- This challenge can be completed during the final fight against Sandman. Just keep zipping around and dodging his attacks until you complete the challenge.
- In Your Face: Win the second encounter against Sandman
- Obtained automatically after beating Sandman for the second time.
- Well Drilled: Successfully protect the drill inside the mine.
- Automatically obtained through level progression.
- Spider Collector: Collect all Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Sand Blaster: Defeat 25 Sand Creatures
- Automatically obtained through level progression.
- Lost and Found: In the final fight, find and grab Juggernaut's helmet inside Sandman's tornado.
- This is very hard to actually find on purpose, but just keep on swinging around during the final boss battle and eventually you'll either see it or run into it and pick it up on accident.
- Zip Master: Web-zip on 50 moving objects.
- Keep this challenge tracked so you can see how many more times you need to web zip before you reach 50.

Act 2 - Vulture
Level Tips
- Refer to the previous Noir Spider-Man level, Hammerhead, for some general tips on how to approach this level. The same general strategies apply here.
- Right after the bar fight, there will be a 2D section where you have to crawl along the wall. Make sure to avoid the spotlights and quickly take down the enemy guards when their back is turned on you before they're able to turn around. If you get spotted, quickly crawl towards the nearest shadow before you take too much damage.
- After your first battle with Vulture, you'll have to rescue several civilians from various enemy encampments. Remember to use your Spider-Sense not only to locate the civilians, but also to note where enemy guards are.
- For the final part of this level, you need to rescue a handful of civilians from a burning building and make it out yourself before it crumbles. As always, keep your spider sense on to make it easier to see through the fire in addition to being able to easily spot civilians. Web zip from point to point as you make your way upwards and rescue all the civilians along the way.
BOSS Battles
Vulture Battle #1
- Jump over Vulture's knives as you get in close to do some melee damage to him. Keep attacking until he lifts his arms up to slash at you.
- He'll jump over to one of the floors above where you'll notice a spotlight that you can activate. Vulture hates the light, so turn the spotlight on him and watch him squirm. Run over to him while he's stunned and press B to deal some heavy damage.
- Repeat this process one more time and you'll bring him down.
Vulture Battle #2
- The second battle against Vulture plays out largely the same as the first one, with the exception of the fact that now he will start throwing molotov's at you.
- If you can hit him with a web shot (RB) right when he pulls a molotov out, you can get him to drop it and deal some damage to himself.
- Deal enough damage to him, and he will against retreat to the upper levels and wait for you by one of the spotlights. Hit him with one to cause him to teleport to a random location. Use your spider sense to find him and then hit him with your best non-aerial combos.
- Keep this up and eventually you'll bring down his health and have to complete another first person beatdown segment before you can finish him off.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Uncertain Grounds: Perform 5 consecutive takedowns without touching the ground in the first area.
- Shouldn't be too hard to manage as long as you stay out of the shadows and just use your webzips and webswings to move around the area. All of your takedowns should either be from a perch point, on the wall, or from far away while standing on a bridge.
- Silent Swing: Swing 5 times in a row without touching the ground and without being spotted.
- The best time to get this challenge is when you're running away from the train.
- Cloak and Dagger: Win the first fight against Vulture
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Like A Shadow: Get through the 2D crawling section in 45 seconds or less
- This is tricky. Only takedown guards when there is absolutely no other way around them and try to stay out of the spotlights. 45 seconds is a pretty strict time limit, though, so if a spotlight is keeping you from moving forward and you have some life to spare, just run through it.
- Missed the Train: Beat the train
- Obtained automatically through progression
- Stealthier: Takedown 7 guards in a row without raising the alarm
- The easiest place to do this is right at the beginning of the level. You have to perform 5 consecutive takedowns for the first challenge anyway, so what's two more?
- Hold Still: Silently slam 5 guards against a wall while standing on the ground
- To perform a wall slam, simply make sure that you're next to a wall when you trigger a ranged takedown. Note that you have to be on the same level as your enemy. This won't work if you're perched or higher than the enemy.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 25 Spider Emblems
- Business as usual. Use your spider sense and you should have no trouble tracking down 40 emblems.
- Bottleneck: Survive the bar fight and get out within 2 minutes
- 2 minutes isn't a lot of time, so move quickly, but don't neglect your defense. If you're too reckless and get hit too much, you'll get knocked around and precious time will pass by.
- Ninja Spider: Perform 30 takedowns
- Should be obtained automatically if you're playing this level correctly.
- Firefighter: Save ALL of the civilians inside the burning building
- Use your spider sense to locate the civilians. This is obtained automatically through level progression
- Spider Collector: Find ALL of the hidden spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Punchy: Hit 5 enemies with charge attacks
- You'll actually have to purchase Noir's kind of useless charge attack for this challenge.
- On Fire!: Get Vulture to accidently drop one of his molotov cocktails during the final
fight 3 times
- Whenever Vulture takes out a molotov, shoot him with your web shots power.
- Daring Rescue: Rescue all the civilians on the rooftops in under 5 minutes.

Act 2 - Scorpion
Level Tips
- Scattered throughout this level are little green eggs that not only can be thrown to melt open doors, but also can be used as projectiles to deal some decent damage to enemies. Be careful though, the eggs will detonate after a short time if you touch them.
- In the first large section you come to with the scorpion creatures, try to ignore the enemies and just head for the scientists. You'll have to melt down the doors by throwing eggs into them.
- After you rescue the two scientists, you'll have another tough task of protecting them as they're trying to get the door open. Remember to use your Accelerated Vision whenever you need to quickly move from one scientist to the other and keep a careful eye on their life bar. If you see it rapidly decreasing, it's time to drop whatever you're doing and use a clear out attack (like Y + B) to knock away any enemies currently attacking the scientists.
- After you defeat Scorpion for the first time, you'll come to a section where you'll have to rescue 7 civilians that are all under attack by scorpion creatures. The civilians will likely die if you spend too much time trying to fight every single enemy that's attacking them, so instead of fighting, just swing to each civilian, knock away the enemies if you have to, pick them up, and deliver them to the drop off point.
- Next up is a huge battle royale with you, scorpion creatures, and Public Eye. You can fight through this whole battle down to the very last enemy if you wish, or you can just fight up to the checkpoint and head through the wall once a hole is burned through it.
- For the final fight on the rooftop, just survive long enough for Scorpion to come crashing down, taking you into your final boss fight for the level.
BOSS Battles
Scorpion Battle #1
- Scorpion has a very predictable pattern of attack when he's on the ground. He'll charge forward, sweep his tail twice, and then slam his tail into the ground. All you have to do to avoid it is dodge backwards to avoid the swipes, and then dodge left or right to dodge the slam.
- After he slams his tail into the ground, he's vulnerable to attack. Keep on attacking him until he pulls away.
- Next, he'll start shooting stuff out of his tail that will become a batch of eggs when it hits the ground. Dodge all three shots then quickly grab an egg and hurl it at him.
- As soon as the egg hits, run over to Scorpion and lay down some punishment.
- Repeat this process as much as necessary to bring him down.
Scorpion Battle #2:
- This fight is actually a fair bit different from the first one. For one, you have to deal with scorpion creatures as well as the actual boss. Deal with them as they become a problem, but your focus should always be on Scorpion.
- When Scorpion jumps to one of the perches, be on the lookout for a circle to appear on the ground. This will indicate where he's about to dive bomb. Quickly get out of the way and then punish him when he misses.
- Deal enough damage and Scorpion will retreat to the hanging object in the middle of the arena and start shooting eggs at you again. After the third shot, grab an egg and throw it back at him.
- Repeat this whole process three times to win the battle.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Knock, Knock!: Defeat a shielded Public Eye Patrol officer.
- Press B to web zip towards a shielded enemy, then press A to jump over them when you get close. From there, just lay down the pain and repeat if necessary to take down shielded enemies.
- Easter Egg: Hit 5 Public Eye Patrol officers with acid eggs.
- Press B to pick up an acid egg and then B or X to throw them at enemies. Eggs will respawn, so there will always be a healthy supply.
- Return to Sender: Divert 5 missiles into any Heavy S.I.E.G.E. Soldier.
- You should be trying to get this throughout the level, but the best time to get the majority of missile diversions is during the rooftop battle just before the final fight against Scorpion. When a missile is locked on to you and gets close, activate Accelerated Vision mode and run behind an enemy so the missile flies into him.
- Exterminator: Defeat 30 scorpion creatures
- Obtained automatically.
- Omelette Master: Blow up 50 eggs.
- Eggs can be blown up just by running by them in addition to throwing them. There are tons of eggs throughout the level, so this is an easy challenge.
- Skeleton Key: Melt a door with an acid egg.
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Protector: Protect the Public Eye Workers as they open the main hangar doors.
- Use accelerated vision whenever you notice the lifebar of the workers starting to deplete. Quickly run over to the one in danger and clear the enemies out. Purchase the 2099 Helikick special move if you can and use it to clear groups of enemies out.
- Emblem Collector: Several emblems are hidden inside fans, so make sure to break open all the fans you see with eggs and check inside. There's another challenge for breaking fans, so you're killing two birds with one stone.
- Quick Rescue: Save ALL of the civilians in the metro station in less than 3 minutes.
- Do as little fighting here as possible and simply focus on saving the seven civilians. Use your spider sense to locate the civilians and try to go after the ones that seem to be in the most danger first.
- Beast Tamer: This time limit is pretty strict. Consult the boss battle section for strategy and make sure that you use Accelerated Vision whenever it's full to deal extra damage and to approach Scorpion faster when you knock him down.
- Slow-Mo: Defeat 10 enemies while in Accelerated Vision
- Easy enough to do. Try to buy some upgrades to increase the amount of time you can spend in accelerated vision mode to make this challenge easier.
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Meltdown: Melt 10 wall fans using acid eggs.
- Use your spider sense to highlight wall fans and try not to pass any of them up, even though there are a good amount more than 10 throughout the level.
- Street Sweeper: Defeat ALL of the enemies on the final platform in the monorail complex within 4 minutes.
- Once again, accelerated vision is your best friend here. Try to focus on the weaker enemies first. The good news is that the scorpion enemies and soldiers will take out each other, so you're not doing all the work by yourself.
- On Thin Ice: Defeat 10 enemies on the rooftop of the Public Eye tower before Scorpion ends it.
- This challenge at first seems pretty stressful since there's no timer that lets you know when Scorpion's going to interrupt, but you have plenty of time. Use accelerated vision and focus on killing the small enemies first since they're quicker and easier to kill.

Act 2 - Deadpool
Level Tips
- Deadpool's level is unique in that it's actually fairly non linear. Your goal throughout the level is to find and destroy cameras across several oil rigs.
- Obviously, use your spider-sense to locate the cameras. Note that they can sometimes be flying in the air and sometimes they can even be attached to gun turrets. If they're in the air, you can take them out by web-zipping to them with B.
- The disarm ability is extremely useful in this level, as Deadpool's fans frequently come equipped with guns and with eat away at your health bar while you're dealing with the melee oriented enemies. Purchase the move from the Combat Upgrades screen, then when you spot a gun wielding enemy, mash the B button to take his gun, fling it back at him, and kill him instantly.
- For the cameras that are locked behind a gate, you need to find another way inside. For the first gated camera, there is a red pipe to the left of the gate that you can walk across, which leads to a small opening noted by an arrow pointing up. Hop inside and follow the path to break the camera.
- For the second locked camera, use a web pull to take the grate off the vent to the left of the camera.
- For the cameras with guns on them, note that they cannot turn a full 360 degrees, so it's fairly easy to sneak up behind them and take them out with a single punch. Never try to rush through a camera's gun fire. It's not worth the damage you'll take and there will always be a way to get behind them.
- Towards the end of the level you'll have to swing across a large gap while avoiding giant tidal waves. Just make sure to be on the highest platform when the wave arrives so you don't get killed instantly.
BOSS Battles
Deadpool Battle #1
- For the first battle against Deadpool, you're pretty safe to be aggressive. Get right in his face and start hitting him with simple combos. When he crosses his arms to block your attacks, or when your spider sense goes off, dodge away and wait for another opening to strike.
- When you deal enough damage, Deadpool will teleport away and call a bunch of his goons to patrol the area.
- Find Deadpool among the crowd and swing up behind him. Get close and press B to slam him to the ground. Note that you need to be fairly close for this. If you execute a web strike, Deadpool will just teleport away.
- Another cool way to deal some easy damage to Deadpool is by hitting him while he's juggling grenades. As soon as he drops them, dodge away and let him take all the damage from it.
- Only attack the regular enemies when it's necessary. Once Deadpool falls, the fight will end and you'll move on to the next rig.
Deadpool Battle #2:
- For the second battle, you're actually fighting three aspects of Deadpool's fighting style: Grenades, swords, and guns.
- There's really no real order you need to follow unless you're trying to get the "Organized Chaos" challenge. Overall, grenades are the easiest to fight, swords is probably the hardest, and guns is somewhere in the middle.
- Outside of that, use web strikes to approach, but be ready to press A to jump over the retaliation if your spider sense goes off when you initiate the web strike. Once you're in close, just let loose and only back away when he starts blocking your attacks.
- In between "rounds," the Deadpools will disappear and Bop Bags will start dropping from the sky. The easiest way to avoid this is simply by climbing up the cage. Keep the control stick held towards the cage because enemies will shake the cage in an attempt to get you off.
- Once you defeat all three Deadpools, the next piece of the artifact will be yours.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Smile: Destroy the first camera
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Fanboy Beatdown: Defeat 50 fanboys
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Technical Difficulties: Destroy ALL of the cameras on the first oil rig.
- Obtained automatically through level progression
- Publicity Stunt: Take out 15 fanboys during one of the commercial breaks
- This can be done easily during the first commercial break just before you fight the first mini boss. Remember to use Rage Mode whenever its available and you should be able to take out 15 enemies without too much trouble.
- Give Me That!: Disarm 10 fanboy gunners
- You need to purchase the disarm skill from the combat upgrades screen. Once you do, find a gunner and then repeatedly mash B to not only take his weapon, but kill him instantly as well.
- Bop Bag Surprise: Hit 5 Fanboys by detonating Deadpool Bop Bags.
- Lure enemies over to the Bop Bags by simply standing behind them and let them trigger the explosion when they get close. There are plenty of Bop Bags to be found in one of the battles against Deadpool, but try to get some out of the way before then.
- Huge Surprise!: WIN the first fight against the first Huge Deadpool Fan.
- Obtained automatically through level progression.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 90 Spider Emblems
- There are tons of emblems throughout this non linear level. Note that when you destroy all of the cameras on a rig, you can't return to it. So make sure you've collected a healthy number of emblems before you decide to move on.
- Show Cancelled: Destroy ALL of the cameras on the second rig.
- Obtained automatically through progression
- Organized Chaos: In the final fight, beat all three Deadpools in the following order: Guns, Swords, Grenades.
- Pretty self explanatory, but not all that easy to do. Consult the boss section for general strategy on this fight, but just remember to lock on to one at a time and go through the correct order. Guns has a yellow aura, swords has a orange aura, and grenades has a red aura.
- Mosh Pit: Lure Huge Deadpool Fans into hitting 5 fanboys.
- Huge Deadpool Fans have absolutely no concern for what's around them when they start swinging, so chances are you'll probably get this without even trying. Still, track it and start dodging around near some small enemies when a Huge Deadpool fan is near.
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Staying Dry: Race through the pipeline and get to the platform with the diving board in under 1 minute.
- Make sure to track this challenge and restart from the checkpoint if you're not going to make it in time. Remember to hold A while swinging for a speed boost and use your web zip from perch point to perch point to get around faster.
- Huge Disappointment: Take down 3 Huge Deadpool fans by performing a finishing grab.
- This is how you should be taking down these guys anyway, so this shouldn't be too hard. Just make sure not to keep hitting them when the prompt appears above their heads.
- Anger Management: Take down 5 Fanboys in one rage mode consumption.
- Rage mode will absolutely tear through Fanboys, so just make sure you activate it in an area where there are plenty of fanboys around. Also consider purchasing an upgrade to your Rage Mode duration to make things easier.

Act 3 - Juggernaut
Level Tips
- This is a pretty standard level with not that many curveballs being thrown at you. The enemies are pretty tough, but nothing that requires any kind of unique strategy.
- When you reach the room where a bunch of shielded enemies and captains are on the bottom floor while soldiers with guns shoot you from above, web zip to the top floor and focus on killing the guys with guns first. It's a bad idea to keep yourself open to fire while you try to defeat the guys that are the hardest to kill.
- Remember to turn on your spider sense when they throw down a smoke bomb so you can still see through the smoke.
BOSS Battles
Juggernaut Battle #1
- The best way to deal damage to Jughead is by getting him to charge through the explosive silos. Simply perch yourself on top of one, or just stand behind one, and let him run right through it. After he gets hit by the explosion, run over to him and press B
- Eventually, you're going to run out of explosive silos to use. When this happens, you'll have to try and bait him into using his double hammerfist attack. Dodge out of the way of it and then punish him before he lifts his hands back up.
- Once you bring down his health, he will start throwing huge objects like cars at you. Keep your finger on RT and get ready to web zip to the object he throws. Jump off it, and then quickly run towards him to unleash some quick combos before he recovers from his stun.
Juggernaut Battle #2
- The main thing you have to watch out for in this fight is Juggernaut's jump. He will jump off screen for a little, then crash down in the center and cause a shockwave of rocks to shoot outwards.
- As the fight goes on, he'll add more to follow up with this jump. He'll jump, shockwave, dash forward to slam his fist, then start pounding the ground relentlessly, damaging anything that gets close to him. Wait for him to finish his ground pound, then dash forward and start hitting him with combos.
- After taking some damage, a prompt will appear above his head, allowing you to execute a giant throw and deal some nice damage.
- Juggernaut also likes to taunt and laugh at you a lot. Whenever you see him doing this, quickly run towards him and start attacking.
- Also use the same strategy as in the last fight where you web zip to the object that he throws at you and then punish him while he's resting.
- Aside from those instances of vulnerability though, keep your distance from Juggernaut. He has some very damaging throws that are hard to avoid and he takes very little damage when not stunned from one of his own attacks.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Head First: Win the first battle against Juggernaut.
- Obtained automatically
- Raining Pipes: Cause 3 enemies to be hit by objects thrown by Juggernaut.
- Charge Blast: Blind 5 Wild Pack mercenaries using the charge attack.
- Purchase the charge attack at the combat upgrades screen. You'll lose the charge if you get hit, so try dodging around until it's fully charged.
- Yes Captain!: Defeat 5 Wild Pack Captains
- Obtained automatically through level progression. Captains aren't much different from all of the other really big enemies you've faced so far.
- Nimble Jump: Zip jump over 5 objects thrown by Juggernaut.
- This can be gotten during the final battle against Jugs when he starts throwing things like cars and giant pieces of rock at you. As soon as they're thrown, keep an eye out for the yellow prompt that lets you know you can web zip to it. As soon as you see it, tap RT.
- Give Me Your Gun!: Disarm 10 wild pack gunners.
- Once again, you'll need the disarm skill from the combat upgrades screen. From there, just mash B when you're facing an enemy with a gun to disarm them and kill them in one shot. Try to use it when enemies aren't shooting at you, since the smallest hit will break the disarm.
- Group Hug: Throw or kick 5 enemies into other enemies.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 45 Spider Emblems
- Again, use Spider Sense to locate the Spider Emblems scattered around the level.
- Emergency Shutdown: Rescue the 3 workers in the Construction site.
- Obtained automatically through progression.
- Make Room!: Get Juggernaut to destroy 50 objects in the first encounter.
- Make sure that you keep this tracked during your first fight and don't finish him off until the challenge is met.
- Ascension: Reach the top of the Oscorp building in less than 45 seconds.
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Going Up!: Zip your way up the first segment of the Oscorp building by using the debris Juggernaut throws.
- Obtained automatically through progression
- Wild Packed!: Hit Wild Pack Mercenaries with 10 objects.
- Easy enough to do, but also easy to forget about. Track it to remind yourself how many more you have to hit.
- Clearance: Take out 50 Wild Pack Mercenaries
- Obtained automatically

Act 3 - Goblin
Level Tips
- This level is a bit more challenging than previous Noir Spider-Man levels due to the addition of fireworks which illuminate the night sky and reveal your position.
- Due to this, try not to rely so much on just staying in shadows. Whenever possible, try to be behind something that breaks line of sight.
- If that's not possible though, wait patiently for a firework to go off, then when it's dark again, make your move. When you hear the sound of a firework being launched, quickly look for cover or make sure that you're not in the line of sight of any enemy.
- For the second set of civilians that you have to rescue, you need to save them in order. First get the one on the right, which will cut the electricity on the wire leading to the next civilian, and so on. Make sure that you actually use the power lines to approach each encampment, otherwise you'll have a tough time.
- In the circular rooms with the clown faces, you need to try to find the face that has eyes that move a lot quicker and more randomly than the others. The right eye specifically bounces a lot on the correct door. Once you find it, walk over to the mouth and press B.
- In the inverted room, there's not much you can do about the vision blur. Try to save the big guy with the hammer for last since he takes the longest to kill and can actually help you out a bit with friendly fire.
- When you have to save the civilian from the runaway ferris wheel, just note that all you have to do is grab him. A cutscene will take care of the rest. So just quickly get over to him, web pull the cart, and then grab him.
BOSS Battles
Goblin
- You thankfully only have to fight Goblin once, but it's a multi-phase battle. In the first phase, press B to initiate a web strike and then press A to leap over Goblin so you can attack his vulnerable back side.
- Back away from him when he reaches up to smash the ground then get use another web strike evade to get on his back side again.
- When the lights go out for the first time, you'll have to sneak over to him from the rafters without getting spotted by a spotlight. Once you're above him, press B to execute a takedown.
- When the lights come back on, Goblin will pick up the bottom part of a large wooden pole and use it as a weapon to attack you.
- He will swing the pole sideways and then slam it vertically. Dodge both and then web strike evade him again to get on his back side to damage his vulnerable spot.
- Back away when he's about to swing the pole around and repeat the process.
- The lights will go off again and you'll have to use another takedown to deal damage to him. This hasn't changed at all since the first time the lights went off.
- For the final phase of the battle when the lights come back on, Goblin will have an army of his goons to help him out. Keep locked on Goblin and try to lure him into clearing out his buddies with his own attacks.
- He will alternate between just going in unarmed and picking up a pole, so use what you've learned in the previous two phases and you'll be able to bring him down.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Sorry, We're Closed: Rescue the 3 civilians at the amusement park entrance
- Obtained automatically through progression
- Play Ball!:
- Using the ball, knock down 5 thugs inside the circus tent
- Back Off!: Push back 5 thugs with a single Spider Stomp
- Best time to do this is during the final battle with Goblin during the phase when he sends an army of his goons after you.
- Not Funny!: Escape the laughing doors room.
- Obtained through progression through the level. Find the door with the eyes that move much more wildly than the others.
- Going Knots: Perform all 6 types of takedowns (on the ground, up close, on a wall, from above, while crawling, while perched.)
- Keep this challenge tracked right from the beginning of the level and make a mental note whenever you use a different type of takedown.
- From Above: Perform 5 takedowns while standing on higher ground.
- This is easy enough due to the level layout and because this is the most preferred style of takedown.
- Stealth Master: Perform 30 takedowns
- Should be obtained automatically through level progression.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 15 Spider Emblems
- There aren't that many emblems in this level, so be extra sure to keep an eye out for them while in Spider Sense mode and don't proceed to the next area until you've thoroughly searched for them.
- Free Ride: Rescue the ferris wheel civilian.
- Obtained automatically through level progression. You don't have very much time at all for this challenge. Quickly zip towards the civilian, pick him up, and then start swinging while holding A for a speed boost.
- Stealthiest: Takedown 10 enemies in a row without raising the alarm.
- This is actually pretty difficult in this level due to the fireworks that illuminate the screen whenever they go off. Check the level tips part of this level for some hints on how to stay hidden.
- Incompetent Fools!: Force Goblin to hit 10 of his men.
- Goblin sends a horde of goons after you during one of the final phases of the last battle with him. Simply lure Goblin towards his men, dodge his attacks, and let Goblin do the rest.
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Freak Show: Defeat Goblin
- Consult the boss battle section of this level.
- Got Your Back: Perform 5 Web Strike Evades against Goblin.
- A webstrike evade is when you web zip towards an enemy and then press A to jump over them. Knock this challenge out at the start of the final battle with Goblin.
- Confusion: Clear the inverted fight in the hall within 2 minutes.

Act 3 - Doctor Octopus
Level Tips
- The very first part of this level is another free fall segment, but this time you actually need to hurry it up due to the flames behind you.
- This level is split up into 4 different labs connected by a central hub. At the end of each lab is a reactor that you must destroy in order to reach Doc Ock.
- One thing that you need to note are the big lab creatures that teleport around the room. When they teleport to a perch point, track them down and zip kick them so they get knocked off and fall down to the ground. Also note that they drop extremely powerful energy cores that can be thrown towards other lab creatures, significantly damaging them.
- After you destroy the reactor for one of the labs, you'll need to hightail it out of there quickly or get burned by the encroaching flames. Make sure you hold down A as you swing, but let go of it while you jump so you don't accidentally trigger a web jump. Also make sure that you rescue the scientist on the way.
BOSS Battles
Mech-Arm Battle #1:
- Visit Labs 2 or 4 and you'll have to fight a Mech-Arm operated by Doc Ock. The first time you battle it, the battle is pretty simple.
- All you have to do is lure the arm to smash the open panel. Once it hits it and shocks itself, zip up the arm and run over to the Doc and press B.
- Do this twice to win the battle.
Mech-Arm Battle #2
- The second battle against the mech-arm is largely the same with the exception of there now being a bunch of kamikaze robots looking to explode on you if you stand in the same spot for too long.
- Use your web shots to shoot down the bots while still remaining on the panel to lure the arm.
- Once again, after two hits, the arm will go down.
Doctor Octopus
- For the first phase of this battle, Doc Ock will be completely protected as she spins a laser around the room.
- Jump over the laser and then quickly web pull one of the plugs on the machine.
- Each time you remove a plug, another laser will appear. Make sure that you've just jumped over the laser when you go for the web pull.
- With the shield down, execute a web strike on the Doc to knock her out of her machine.
- She'll now chase after you and electrify the ground as she runs by it. Web swing all over the place to avoid getting run over by her until she returns to the middle.
- Keep on web swinging until she emits a shockwave, then wait for her shield to go down and use another web strike to knock her out of the machine.
- Run up to her and press B to throw her and deal some heavy damage.
- Start swinging again as soon as you throw her and repeat the above steps two more times until shes down to about 1/4 life.
- From here she'll change things up. She will fly around the room in her bubble shooting a laser while her lab creatures keep you busy.
- Try to get her laser to kill the creatures and then throw their cores at her to deal some damage. After each hit, start swinging to avoid her clones' laser sweeps.
- Repeat this about four times to finally bring her down.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Close Calls: Dodge Doctor Octopus' arms 50 times in freefall.
- This needs to be done in the very first part of the level, so track it from the start and if you're nearing the end without bypassing those 50 arms, restart the level and try again. Do not use accelerated vision to slow down time, it just kind of freezes Spider-Man in places.
- Stay Down!: Perform 5 web slams on a Public Eye Patrol Officers
- Purchase the web slam special move from the combat upgrades screen and then press B, and B again to web zip towards and enemy, then slam them to the ground.
- Swatting Flies: Hit 5 Jetbikes with web strike punches.
- Use your spider sense to highlight jetbikes and then press B to web zip towards them, then X to execute a webstrike punch. Note that you have to purchase the move from the combat upgrades screen.
- Alley Oop: Hit 3 enemies with Flying Maintenance Droids.
- Use your spider sense to spot these small drones that fly around in the area in places where jetbikes are usually around. Press B to grab then, then B again to throw them towards an enemy.
- Core Mechanic: Hit enemies using 3 energy cores dropped from a lab creature.
- When the big lab creatures die, they drop purple energy orbs that explode if left alone for a while. Pick these cores up and throw them at enemies to deal massive damage and complete this challenge.
- Breaking and Entering: Web Pull 5 glass walls in Alchemax's Labs.
- You'd think that this would be one of those challenges that you'd complete automatically, but you may have to pull some glass doors that don't actually have anything behind them. Simply walk up to a glass door and press B to pull it off.
- Man Over Machine: Ledge run on Doctor Octopus' mechanical arm.
- Automatically obtained through defeating the miniboss.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 35 Spider Emblem
- As always, use your spider sense, and try to collect all of the emblems in the rooms before leaving.
- Cable Guy: Shut down all 4 master cables that power up the lab.
- Obtained automatically
- Cutting Edge: Destroy 5 lab creatures with Doctor Octopus' laser.
- This is the way to actually damage Doc Ock. anyway, but make sure that you track this challenge and get all 5 before you kill her.
- Cost You an Arm: Destroy both mechanical arms of Doctor Octopus.
- Obtained automatically through progression
- Spider Collector: Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Too Fast For You!: Hit 5 enemies with a single charge attack.
- Upgrade 2099's charge attack to level 2 and then use it when a bunch of enemies are grouped together to have him bounce between them.
- Super Slo-Mo:Trigger and empty Acclerated Vision 5 times.
- Pretty self explanatory and easy to complete.
- Accelerated: Defeat 5 enemies in a single Accelerated Vision.
- Upgrade your accelerated vision duration as much as you can to make this challenge easier. Also, try completing it during battles involving the self destructing lab creatures that die in one hit.

Act 3 - Carnage
Level Tips
- This level is all about using your rage mode. There will be tons of enemies on screen at once, which makes it perfect for rage mode because you regain a bit of rage every time you hit an enemy.
- Note that corrupted S.H.I.E.L.D agents cannot be knocked into the air, so abandon any idea of using aerial combos against them.
- There are lots of battles to be had in this level, but few are actually required. If you're low on health and want to just make it to the next checkpoint, just push forward until you reach a locked door.
BOSS Battles
Carnage Battle #1
- For the first battle of against Carnage, you have a couple of options of how to approach things.
- You can do things the standard way and just straight up attack Carnage, dodging whenever the spider sense goes off and remaining aggressive otherwise.
- When he blocks your attacks, make sure to dodge away and wait for him to start moving again. Approach him with the webstrike evade, since he's likely to block your regular web strike approaches.
- When you see a bunch of squigglies appear on the ground, quickly zip to one of the perch points and look for Carnage waiting on top of a Helicarrier Reactor. Zip to him and knock him into the reactor to deal some nice damage.
- Repeat this process to defeat him the standard way.
- The other way to beat him is simply to camp on a helicarrier reactor and wait for him to come to you. If you're able to jump off the instant before he's about to hit you, you'll be able to zip kick him into the reactor. Repeat this until he's done.
Carnage Battle #2:
- At the beginning of the battle, Carnage encases himself in a cocoon-like object that can only be damaged by the friendly robots and their flamethrowers. Protect them from the symbiote creatures for as long as you can.
- Eventually the cocoon will break and Carnage will come out, prompting a first person beatdown segment.
- After the first person mode ends, Carnage will fight pretty much exactly like he did in the previous fight, with the omission of the helicarrier reactors. Wait for him to attack, then zip towards him and punish him while in Rage Mode. He's especially vulnerable after missing his ground spike attack.
- Repeat this process of breaking open the cocoon by protecting the robots and then beating up Carnage himself and you'll bring down the big red monster.
Web of Destiny Challenges
- Quarantine: Rescue the civilian from the corrupted S.H.I.E.L.D agents
- Obtained automatically through progression at the beginning of the level.
- Knocked Back:Trigger Rage Mode to knock back 25 corrupted S.H.I.E.L.D. agents
- Get yourself surrounded by a horde of corrupted agents before activating Rage Mode to complete this challenge.
- Smells Like Bacon: Burn 25 symbiotic creatures using fire.
- This is kind of tricky to do since the symbiotic creatures appear pretty late in the level. The best time to get as many down as possible is in the jail during the first fight when they show up. Hit them with flaming objects as your primary method of dispatching them.
- Purge Protocol: Destroy 10 Slayers
- Pretty standard "Kill 10 big enemies" challenge. Note that their flamethrower hurts A LOT if you stand still and let it burn you for too long. As soon as you see the flame thrower starting up, back off.
- Strike!: Hit 10 enemies with a single charged attack.
- Upgrade Ultimate Spider-Man's charge attack to level 2 and utilize it when surrounded by a group of enemies.
- Splash Damage: Ignite 5 enemies at the same time.
- Door Buster: Execute 3 Web Pulls throughout the station.
- There are a couple of doors with nothing really behind them other than some corrupted agents that can be webpulled for this challenge. Keep an eye out for them as your traversing through the warzone area.
- Emblem Collector: Collect 35 Spider Emblems
- You should be a pro at this by now. Use your spider sense to track down those emblems.
- Feeling Angry: Activate the Rage Mode 10 times
- You'll need to be using Rage Mode a lot during this level, so this might as well be considered an automatic challenge completion.
- Feeding Frenzy: Force Carnage to destroy 3 friendly slayers during the final encounter.
- Carnage BBQ: Throw Carnage in a Helicarrier Reactor 5 times.
- This must be done during the first fight with Carnage. When he causes the red to cover the ground and rests on the edge of a reactor, web zip towards him to knock him into it. Note that you can kill Carnage before you get the chance to do this 5 times, so ease off attacking him if you're trying to get this challenge.
- Spider Collector:Find all the Hidden Spiders
- Use your spider sense to highlight the hidden spiders (Actual Locations Coming Soon)
- Crash'N Burn: Survive the Helicarrier crash
- Obtained automatically
- Maximum Carnage: Keep your Rage Mode active for 30 seconds by continuing to BEAT enemies!
- Upgrade your Rage Mode duration as much as you can, because 30 seconds is pretty long time to be in rage mode. The best place to do this is towards the end of the level when you are ambushed by massive numbers of corrputed S.H.I.E.L.D agents. Just spam the X button because you don't want to kill these guys that fast. The more you can hit them, the more your rage meter will be refilled.
- Jailbreak: Successfully break out of the maximum security prison.
- Obtained automatically through progression.

Act 4 - Mysterio
Mysterio's level is actually broken up into four different boss battles each meant for a different version of Spider-Man.
BOSS - Mysterio Battle #1 - Noir Spider-Man
- Up to the plate first is Noir Spider-Man. Pretty simple stuff here. All you have to do is web zip from platform to platform, staying behind cover whenever Mysterio illuminates the environment with his energy.
- Note that you cannot use your webswing, so all of your movement from platform to platform is going to be using web zips.
- Be patient! Don't jump from three different platforms before going for some cover. Take small steps towards Mysterio. It'll take a while, but it's better than failing and having to do things over.
- Once you reach the top, web pull his face into the rock and crack his mask.
BOSS - Mysterio Battle #2 - Ultimate Spider-Man
- If you haven't already, purchase the Ultimate Symbiote Spin move from the Combat Upgrades menu. This move will help immensely since there are so many enemies that attack you during this boss battle, and you need a way to hit them all at once.
- Defeat all the enemies that Mysterio sends at you and then dodge his energy attacks.
- Eventually he'll create an orb that will spawn a shadow of a former boss. Dodge the boss's attack and then wait for the orb to change color. When it does, web strike it three times to cause it to explode. This will be your main way of damaging Mysterio for this battle.
- After you destroy a couple of orbs, Mysterio will destroy the platform and you'll have to web zip across the debris to the next one.
- You'll repeat this process about two more times, with each time adding in some more enemies while you worry about breaking the orbs. Remember to use your spin move to clear enemies out and make good use of your rage mode.
- At the end, you'll need to web pull his helmet to put another crack in it.
BOSS - Mysterio Battle #3 - 2099 Spider-Man
- Pretty standard freefall section here. Hold A to fall faster and try to maneuver Spider-Man so that he's able to fall through the clear spots of Mysterio's magic seals.
- Not much else to this one. Once you get close to Mysterio, press B to grab his helmet, and then mash X to punch it.
- Do this about three times to move on to the final fight.
BOSS - Mysterio Battle #4 - Amazing Spider-Man
- Again, try to make sure you have Amazing Spider-Man's spin move, executed by pressing Y and B at the same time. It makes this battle much easier.
- Amazing Spider-Man's part in this battle is really just a matter of defeating a huge number of enemies, then launching a piece of debris at Mysterio via a web pull when the coast is clear.
- Make sure to always keep an eye on Mysterio in the background so you can be ready for when he starts shooting balls of energy at you.
- Make your way around to the next platform after each time you hit his mask. What makes this battle somewhat difficult is the fact that you don't have accelerated vision or rage mode to fall back on. Still, just spam your spin attack to keep the enemies off you and use heavy attacks to hit multiple enemies at once.
- After the third throw, you'll be able to swing over to Mysterio and deliver the final blow. Congratulations! You've just beaten Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions!
