Each holiday season, thousands of people visit Bristol Motor Speedway to see the amazing light displays. Visiting Speedway in Lights has become a yearly event for many families in the Tri-Cities area. With over 200 light displays, Bristol Motor Speedway is turned into a winter wonderland that signifies the beginning of the holiday season.

History
Speedway in Lights is entering it's 13th consecutive year. Each year it has grown and now contains nearly 2 million lights. Visitors take a 4.5 mile drive that allows them to drive around the track of Bristol Motor Speedway, while viewing the incredible light displays that are powered by TVA.All proceeds raised by Speedway in Lights benefits the local Bristol chapter of the Speedway Children's Charities. Over 4.5 million dollars have been raised by this event over the years.
There are several favorite displays that include The Twelve Days of Christmas, Dinosaur Village, and the animated snowman.
