Speed is an action thriller film about a Los Angeles S.W.A.T team trying to locate and disarm a bomb that a terrorist has placed on a bus. The movie stars Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, and Dennis Hopper.
Speed revolves around a city bus in Los Angeles that has been rigged with a bomb. Once the bomb is armed, the bus must keep its speed above 50 mph in order to keep the bomb from detonating. Reeves plays police officer Jack Traven who boards the bus in order to think of a way to get everyone off safely. Hopper plays Howard Payne, a retired cop who is demanding money in exchange for the safety of the bus passengers.
