Background
The Spanish Grand Prix was first held in 1913. Carlos de Salamanca won at Guadarrama. The race was moved to the Lasarte circuit in San Sebastian from 1926 to 1935. Other circuits that held the event include Pedralbes, Jarama, Montjuich. Jerez and Circuit de Catalunya. Michael Schumacher has won the event a record six times.
