Space Siege

Space Siege is an action role-playing game designed by Dungeon Siege creator Chris Taylor, and developed by Gas Powered Games for the Windows PC platform. It was originally announced by Sega on July 6, 2007.IGN: Pre-E3 2007: Space Siege Announced (July 7, 2007)

The game takes place in the distant future amidst an intergalactic war. Humanity has been forced to take refuge aboard several spacecraft following the complete destruction of their home planet, Earth. Playing as one of the ship's robotic experts, you awaken, after lying unconscious for weeks, to discover that your vessel has been overrun by hostile alien forces. Now, you must take them out.

Space Siege is a point-and-click dungeon crawler similar in many respects to Diablo II: Lord of Destruction or Dungeon Siege II, although it leans more towards action oriented gameplay. Players have the ability to either augment themselves with cybernetic enhancements or build a robotic partner that will accompany you throughout the campaign. Each option carries its own risks and reward, and choosing one path over the other can have a potentially significant impact on how the game plays out.IGN: Space Siege Preview (August 4, 2008)
