    With positive reviews on the handheld versions, Space Invaders Extreme began migration to the Xbox 360 console. With nearly identical gameplay and subtle level changes, the conversion went well overall. As expected, the intensity and energy levels are not as high and the game flow feels a bit abrupt and awkward.   • Story

    In the game, you control a spaceship and try to destroy your enemies before they destroy you. The game has many levels, in which you battle enemies and multiple bosses.

  • Gameplay

    Movement is similar to the classic Space Invaders game. You can shoot and dodge your enemies while moving left and right. Throughout the levels, aliens attack and change formations, which increases the game's difficulty. There are also occasional bonuses that you can achieve by hitting certain enemies or by completing certain tasks.

  • Multiplayer

    On the Nintendo DS, two players can face off against each other using the DS's built-in WiFi. In battle, the top screen shows the progress of the opponent, while the bottom screen shows your progress.
