Space Cowboys

Clint Eastwood directed, produced and starred in this 2000 comedy about a group of aging astronauts who finagle their way into space when a satellite built with technology that one of them designed threatens to crash into Earth. In 1958, Frank Corvin, Hawk Hawkins, Jerry O'Neill and Tank Sullivan, played by Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland and James Garner respectively, are elite members of the U.S. Air Force on the verge of going into space. Then NASA happens, and the mens' dreams are dashed.

More than 40 years later, Frank learns that a satellite with an operating system of his design is going to crash into Earth without some serious repairs.
