''South Park'' "It's a Jersey Thing"
In the South Park episode "It's a Jersey Thing," the town of South Park is under seige, as the state of New Jersey begins to encroach on other U.S. states. Randy Marsh (father of Stan Marsh), leads the charge, explaining to alarmed residents that the Jersey Shore "now includes Jacksonville, Miami, the Gulf of Jersey Mexico and the Jersey Islands." Marsh and other town residents arm themselves and prepare to do battle with New Jersey residents who are invading South Park.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mgrL7CV76g
Few Jersey Shore cast members were spared in this parody. In the South Park parody, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was depicted as a "lumpy, Jabba-like monster capable only of communicating in wailing half-phrases." These phrases included: "Snooki want smoosh-smoosh." Randy Marsh explains to the baffled residents that "It's called a Snooki. It's very famous."http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1320517/South-Park-Jersey-Shore--explosive-results.html Shortly after the episode aired, the real Snooki took to her Twitter account, saying "I'm going to have nightmares tonight!" and adding, "We've officially made it."http://twitter.com/Sn00ki/status/27314554753
