South Park Jersey Shore

The animated Comedy Central series South Park featured a parody of the MTV reality show Jersey Shore in an episode that aired on October 13, 2010. In the South Park episode "It's a Jersey Thing," the town of South Park is under seige, as the state of New Jersey begins to encroach on other U.S. states. Randy Marsh (father of Stan Marsh), leads the charge, explaining to alarmed residents that the Jersey Shore "now includes Jacksonville, Miami, the Gulf of Jersey Mexico and the Jersey Islands." Few Jersey Shore cast members were spared in this parody. In the South Park parody, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was depicted as a "lumpy, Jabba-like monster capable only of communicating in wailing half-phrases." These phrases included: "Snooki want smoosh-smoosh." Randy Marsh explains to the baffled residents that "It's called a Snooki.
