• South by Southwest original began as a music festival in Austin, Texas. Through the years, the weekend festival evolved into an extended event that highlights the best acts in music, film and interactive entertainment. • Music Schedule

  Music schedules include band performances, panels on the music business, performance pieces at teh Day Stage Cafe, reading at the SXSW Barnes and Noble book store, parties and the live streaming schedule of performances.

• Film Schedule

  The film schedule include the narrative films in competition, panels on the film business, readings, performances, parties and events at Studio SX. Studio SX is a venue where filmmakers and film enthusiasts can learn from veterans in the buniness. The 2009 schedule includes interviews with Brett Gaylor, Joe Swanberg, Ondi Timoner, and Ben Steinbauer.

• Interactive Schedule

  The interactive schedule includes mostly panels and salons. SXSW 2009 includes a series of discussions called Core Conversations. These are hour long discussions open to all involved in teheevent. The tone is informal, and topics include blogging, building an online community, coworking and social networking.
