• One of the biggest draws of the annual South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, are the parties, lounges and social gatherings held on each of the event's 9 days. Many of these parties are official events listed on the schedule, while other "side parties" are sponsored by individuals, blogs, companies or private organizations. Many feature bands performing at the festival or other live entertainment.
