Sound of Silver is the sophomore album by the electronic music group, LCD Soundsystem. It was released in 2007 to critical acclaim, receiving high marks from many major publications both in print and online. Sound of Silver received rave reviews from print publications including Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone—which both named it the 7th best album of 2007—UK's The Guardian, which named it the best of the year, and Time Magazine, which named the track All My Friends the 4th best song of the year. It was also received well by the review site, Pitchfork Media, which named it the 2nd best album of 2007. -
