Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac star in Soul Men as two former friends who are brought to a reunion due to a former band member's passing. However, during the twenty years since they last spoke, they have drifted far apart and now have to make a choice to reconcile or move on.
The trailer begins with a voiceover explaining that both Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) were part of a popular band thirty years ago. Now, the Apollo Theater wants to host a reunion tribute for the former bandmates of The Real Deal. However, the two former friends have spoken to each other in two decades. Floyd wants to do it for the money but Louis doesn't want to stage any type of comeback. Eventually they reunite with the daughter of a band member who passed on and begin to tour together once again.
