  • On April 16, 2008, Soulcalibur for the Xbox Live Arcade was announced at Namco Bandai Editor's Day.IGN: Soulcalibur Coming to XBLA April 16, 2008) The game is a port of the Sega Dreamcast version and can be downloaded for 800 Microsoft Points. It supports HD resolutions up to 1080p. The XBLA version does not have Mission Mode. All items, art and Character|characters originally unlocked by playing through Mission Mode are automatically available at the start of the game. Soulcalibur XBLA also does not support online play.
  • About Soulcalibur

    Soulcalibur is a 3D fighting game originally developed by Namco in 1998 for play in arcades. In 1999, the game was ported to the Sega Dreamcast and released as a launch title for the new console. The Dreamcast version had new features, including training and survival modes. There was also a Mission Mode, which allowed players to earn points to unlock concept art, new characters and costumes.
