Soul Calibur III is an action fighting video game developed by PROJECT SOUL and published by Namco for the PlayStation 2 video game console. It is the fourth overall installment in the Soul Calibur series of fighting games. Unlike most other fighting games, Soul Calibur III features weapon-based combat, where the standard for such games is usually empty-handed martial arts.
