About Sonic Unleashed
Sonic's nemesis, the evil Dr. Eggman, has corrupted the power of the Chaos Emeralds and called forth Dark Gaia, a mysterious beast that shatters the Earth into seven pieces. Sonic tasks himself with putting the world back together. The corrupted Chaos Emeralds have an unforeseen side effect, however, and Sonic is transformed into a brawling Werehog every night.The gameplay in Sonic Unleashed is divided into two distinct modes: day and night. During the day, Sonic collects coins in a rollercoaster-like 2D side-scroller. At night, Sonic transforms into a Werehog and the lightning pace of the game slows down.
