Story and Gameplay
Sonic is charged with putting the earth back together after it is shattered into pieces by Dr. Eggman. The Chaos Emeralds must be retrieved and their power activated in order to piece together the seven broken continents. The fact that Sonic transforms into a Werehog at night adds a new twist to the gameplay.The game consists of two modes: a 2D side-scroller set in a 3D environment, which is similar to gameplay in the Sonic Rush and Sonic Rivals titles, and seamless transition to action sequences set fully in 3D.Official Site: Sonic Unleashed
