31-year-old Sonia Ringoir, from Belgium has been accused by her estranged husband Marc Poppe, of selling her twin boys for more than $13,000 to pay for cosmetic surgery. Poppe told an undercover Dutch reporter that Ringoir had sold the babies to a friend to fund the fat removal procedure known as liposuction.Liposuction: Liposuction He said that the couple had come up with the idea after they had searched the internet for ways to make money. Ringoir has 5 other children aged between 3 and 13 by two different fathers.

Because Belgium has no law against selling children, Ringoir has been charged with "degrading treatment" of the children.
