Son of Rambow is a British indie film written and directed by Garth Jennings. The movie revolves about two young boys, Lee Carter (played by Will Poulter) and Will Proudfoot (Bill Milner) who set out to make an action movie after seeing Rambo: First Blood. Lee is a wild and crazy delinquent who gets ahold of his brother's video equipment and plans to submit their project to film festival for youngsters. Will, on the other hand, is a shy and reserved young boy who comes from a very religious upbringing, and is very afraid of his family finding out about their film.
Son of Rambow has been generally well received by critics, and was a favorite at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
