Something Lyrics

"Something" is a song written by George Harrison that appears on The Beatles' album "Abbey Road".

Former American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee and legend David Foster performed the song on the March 12, 2008 episode of American Idol.

Background

Harrison began work on "Something" during the making of White Album though it did not make the final cut. "Something" was released on the album "Abbey Road".

When it was released in 1969 is marked the first time a Harrison composition appeared on the A-side of a single, the B-side was Lennon's 'Come Together'.
