Snow Patrol is a Scottish/Irish Alternative Rock band led by vocalist Gary Lightbody. The band released its debut album in 1998 and hit the mainstream with 2004's Final Straw. Two years later, its fourth album, Eyes Open, went gold on the strength of the Billboard Top 5 single "Chasing Cars." The band has had numerous songs featured on the soundtracks to television shows and movies. Recently, the band announced that they were going to start work on a new album.
