Snake Eyes stars Nicolas Cage as a corrupt cop that uncovers a conspiracy at a boxing match during which the Secretary of Defense is assassinated. Santoro gets involved, thinking that he is helping a friend, Kevin Dunne (played by Gary Sinise). Santoro discovers that everything is not what it seems.
Plot Synopsis
Snake Eyes takes place in Atlantic City during a hurricane. Rick Santoro (Nicolas Cage), a corrupt cop, attends a boxing match with his friend, Kevin Dunne (Gary Sinise), a naval officer responsible for protecting the Secretary of Defense Charles Kirkland (Joel Fabiani). During the course of the fight, the Secretary of Defense is assassinated because Kevin was distracted by a redhead woman. Santoro wants to protect his friend Kevin because had he not be distracted by the redhead, the Secretary of Defense would not have been assassinated. In Santoro's (Cage) attempt to protect his friend Kevin, he uncovers that there is more going on than what it appears. Santoro starts to question his own corrupt ways and discovers serious abuse of power that lead to the assassination of the Secretary of Defense.
