Joining is easy - just go to http://www.smugmug.com/ and click "Try it!". There was a coupon for 50% for Flickr 'refugees', but I don't remember if it's expired yet or not. Try "flickr" in the coupon field.

SmugMug seems like an interesting company with a great service - I was quite intrigued by all the features offered by SmugMug and I'm eager to learn more. You appear to be well on your way to building a first-rate Mahalo page. I also pulled a video up and featured it right under the Top 7 - very interesting interview with a great deal of good information about SmugMug.
