Slacker Uprising is a documentary film that was written, directed and narrated by Michael Moore. Moore released the project free on the Internet on September 23, 2008. Slacker Uprising Tour
Michael Moore filmed his journey to college campuses in 2004. He staged a gathering of performers and speakers and encouraged young Americans to vote. Eddie Vedder, Joan Baez, Roseanne Barr, R.E.M., and Viggo Mortensen were on hand to entertain the crowds. The tour began in Elk Rapids, Michigan and covered 62 cities.
