Health Problems

The dog is a breed with short legs, and is susceptible to puppy limp. The dog is also susceptible to degenerative disc disease, Cancer, and Hyperthyroidism. The Skye Terrier was originally bred as a hunter and herder. Although they are small and look affable, they are not considered to be the cuddly type.
