Skip Caray was a long-time broadcaster for the Atlanta Braves and the son of Hall of Fame broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs, Harry Caray. Caray died on August 3, 2008, in the midst of his 33rd season calling Braves games.

The Caray Family
Not only was Skip Caray the son of the late Cubs announcer Harry Caray, he was also the father of two baseball broadcasters. Son Chip Caray formerly announced baseball games for FOX Sports and now calls games for the Braves. Son Josh Caray calls games on the radio for the Class A Rome Braves.
