SKECHERS is a brand of of footwear for men, women, and kids. The line includes sneakers, shoes, and sandals. The company was founded by LA Gear founder Robert Greenberg after he was removed from his board position in 1992. Skechers was originally a distributor for Dr. Martens before launching their own show line in 1995.
Skechers started off selling boots and skate shoes, but eventually started to market a wide variety footwear styles with multiple brands. Skechers also promotes such artists as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Ashley Tisdale.
