Challenges in Xbox 360 and PS3 game Skate 2 are the various goals the players must accomplish in order to progress the story. There are a variety of challenges the player must overcome in order to defeat the career mode of the game.

Different Types of Challenges
There are many different types of challenges in Skate 2. In progressing through the career mode, players will be required to overcome a variety of obstacles, from beating pro skaters in a head-to-head match-up to performing so well that they're featured on the cover of a skateboarding magazine. Other challenges require players to film or photograph themselves pulling off tricks. Challenges in Skate 2 are primarily used to progress the story of the game. In the game, the player-controlled character has just been released from prison and finds his town of much less friendly to skateboarders than it used to be. This is because Mongocorp, a large evil corporation, has basically taken control of the city and outlawed skateboarding of any kind. The player is tasked with building his or her career and bringing some much-needed respect to the skateboarding community. The goal is to team up with the real-life professionals featured in the game to raise enough money to build a designated skate park.Official Site: Skate 2-
