The career mode in Skate 2 is the main, single player story mode. Players must progress through challenges in order to bring skateboarding back to New San Vanelona.
The Story Behind the game
Skate 2 takes place five years after the events of the original Skate. The player-controlled character has been in prison for most of the time since the end of the first game and finds his town of New San Vanelona much less friendly to skateboarders than it used to be thanks to the evil Mongocorp, who has basically taken control of the city and outlawed skateboarding of any kind. The player is tasked wil building his or her career and bringing some much-needed respect to the skateboarding community. The goal is to team up with the real-life professionals featured in the game to raise enough money to build a designated skate park.Official Site: Skate 2
