Six Finger Satellite

Six Finger Satellite is an American Post-punk band.

Six Finger Satellite were signed to Sub Pop Records in 1992 on the strength of their demo which was later released as an EP titled Weapon. Their debut album, The Pigeon Is The Most Popular Bird, was released in 1993. They released four more albums fr Sub Pop before breaking up in 2001. Guitarist John MacLean went on to form The Juan Maclean.

In 2008, Six Finger Satellite reformed with a new lineup. They are now signed to Load Records.
