Six Feet Under is a death metal band started by Chris Barnes of Cannibal Corpse and Allen West of Obituary in 1992.

Career
Chris Barnes originally formed Six Feet Under as a side project to his other band Cannibal Corpse. He was joined by Allen West of the band Obituary, bassist Terry Butler and drummer Greg Gall.The band have released nine album, two of which were covers albums. In 1998, Allen West left the band to rejoin Obituary. He was replaced by guitarist Steve Swanson.
