During her headlining speech at the 2008 Democratic Convention, former presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton thanked several groups of people for supporting her during her campaign. Her appreciation went out to her "sisterhood of traveling pantsuits," a term sometimes used to refer to Clinton's most ardent supporters.
