Sippy Cups

Sippy Cups are a spill-proof training cup used by toddlers when transitioning from breast feeding or a baby bottle to a regular cup.

Controversy

There has been controversy surrounding the use of sippy cups. Some people believe the use of sippy cups will hurt the teeth growing in, others believe using a sippy cup is much like using a bottle. The latest controversy has been the use of Bisphenol A, or commonly known as BPA, in sippy cups. BPA is an organic compound that mimics estrogen and thus could induce hormonal responses. The sale of stainless steel sippy cups has been on the rise since this information was made public.
