Sione Fa

Sione Fa is current contestant on the 8th season of Biggest Loser in the second couples series. Sione Fa joined the show with his cousin Filipe Fa. They come from an obese family and are willing to work hard to set an example to their loved ones. He was eliminated from the show, but came back after his cousin was able to stay in the competition for 20 days without him. He was eliminated again during the 14th week by competitor Tara Costa.

Background

Sione Fa has admitted to trying and failing at many of the diets out there. Being a business owner who works long hours, Fa has found himself not having enough time to work out and eat right. He knows his Tongan ethnicity is working against him, as most of his native country is obese, and even frowns upon slimmer people. Sione Fa hopes to be an inspiration to his people and help his family in Arizona to improve their lifestyles.
