  • Sinusitis is when your sinuses are infected or inflamed causing pain. The pain will vary depending on which part of your sinuses are affected. Also in most cases people with sinusitis have thick nasal discharge that is yellow, green or blood tinged. Most cases of acute sinusitis start with the common cold which turns into a bacterial infection.
