Sinn Fein

Sinn Fein is a left-wing political organization, and the second largest political-party in the Northern Ireland Assembly. Its central goals are the creation of a 32-county democratic socialist republic, and a united Ireland free from any and all British rule.

Northern Ireland Devolution

The Northern Ireland Devolution was a power-sharing agreement between Sinn Fein and the Democratic Unionist Party. Signed on March 26, 2007, the accord was hailed as a step towards a peaceful resolution to the ongoing discord between Irish Protestants and Catholics.
