  • Songs and Trivia

The title song is one of the most recognizable tunes in American history, but the film also featured the cheery "Good Morning" and the dance number, "Broadway Rhythm." In the famous sequence in which Gene Kelly's character sings the title number in a rain shower to express his happiness at having just kissed Kathy, Kelly had a 103 degree temperature at the time of filming. Dancer Cyd Charisse appears in the final dance number.
