Simon Beaufoy is a British screenwriter. He has won several prestigious awards for his writing, including a Critics Choice award and Golden Globe for Slumdog Millionaire and won the Screenwriter of the Year award from London Critics Circle Film Awards for his work in The Full Monty.NY Daily News: The 66th Annual Golden Globes Winners (January 12, 2009) Beaufoy also received an nominations for The Full Monty from The Academy Awards, BAFTA and Writers Guild of America Award.
