Asphyxia is the third boss the player will encounter in Silent Hill Homecoming. This creature appears in the gas chamber of the prison level. In order to defeat this monstrosity, the player must effectively dodge all of its attacks, specifically the attack when the creature attemps to grab the player. Dodging this attack will stun the creature, allowing the player to move behind it and attack its weak spot on the back of the tail. This is the only way to defeat the monster. Repeating this process will result in victory.
