  • Gameplay

    In Side Meier's Alpha Centauri, the player colonizes an alien planet, builds cities, researches technology and establishes civilizations. Once cities are established, players can then build up military and technology. Using the game's "design workshop," players can customize their units in numerous ways. Variables such as weapons, chassis and special abilities are combined to form custom tailored units for whatever the situation calls for.
