Shirley Phelps is a member of the Westboro Baptist Church, and the daughter of founder Fred Phelps. The church believes that only a select few people are predestined to go to Heaven; the only ones who will are members of Westboro Baptist Church. Members of the church preach a message of homophobia and anti-Semitism.
