Shih Tzu

The Shih Tzu is a breed of dog originating from China that is considered a toy doy. Their name come from Chinese Mandirin and it translates to mean lion, the Shih Tzu is an alert happy pet with devotion for its master.

It is reported that the Shih Tzu is the oldest and smallest of the Tibetan holy dogs who were born from a mixture of the Pekingese and the Lhasa Apso in Peking during the17th century.American Kennel Club: Shih Tzu History

Shih Tzu are very active and friendly dogs that enjoy interaction with people and children. They are also able to get along with other pets. Shih Tzu are alert and have a tendency to bark when excited.
