Actress Sheryl Lee appeared as Laura Palmer on the ABC show Twin Peaks during its 1990 to 1991 run.
Following Twin Peaks, Lee appeared in several other films and television shows. Lee was in the 1995 adaptation of the novel, Notes from Underground. She also starred in the 1998 film Vampires, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award, given to honor films and actors in the science fiction and horror genres.
In 1999, Lee had a recurring role on CW hit One Tree Hill. She has since appeared in single episodes of House M.D., New York, and Dirty Sexy Money.
